George has 25 years of experience in private equity investment, financial services strategy and operations, and management consulting. George co-founded Hillside Special Situations in 2015, a proprietary investment firm that invested in BTC and Crypto Mining assets. Prior, he was a partner at Pacific Partnership Advisors, a merchant banking firm that invested in and advised on cross border transactions between Chinese and US companies, and a partner at Epic Partners, a private equity and merchant banking firm focused on the for-profit education and services industries.

Earlier in his career, George served as an operations executive at Lehman Brothers in its Global Equities division. He was also a management consultant at Price Waterhouse where he advised global financial institutions on financial strategy and merger integrations.

Jakub has 25 years of experience as a portfolio manager and analyst in both hedge funds and mutual funds. Jakub served as co-portfolio manager of a $1B+ mutual fund while he was a partner at Third Avenue Management. Prior to Third Avenue, Jakub was an analyst at Putnam Investments, a Boston based mutual fund complex with 400B+ in assets under management, and at Sanford Bernstein, a NY Investment firm with $100B+ in AUM.

Jakub started his career at McKinsey & Co., where he advised Fortune 50 companies on marketing strategy, capital allocation, and acquisitions. Prior to co-founding Lucy Labs, Jakub launched a quantitative trading strategy at Incline Investment Management, a commodity trading advisor based in Nevada.

Robert has 25 years of experience in software development, systems design, and technology management. Robert served as Quantitative Model Developer for ISDA where he was responsible for the implementation of the Initial Margin Model prototype for the multi-trillion dollars global OTC Derivative industry in cooperation with the top 20 global banks. Prior to ISDA, Robert served as senior project manager in Software Design and Architecture at Hilton Worldwide & RichFX. He also was involved in Technology Development for FX Trading Systems at JP Morgan.

Robert also was a founder of Angel Networks, an early Silicon Alley internet and web design firm. He also co- founded Arena Networks, an early white label social media company that inspired Quora.

Greg has more than 20 years of investment banking, private equity, and fundraising experience. Prior to joining Lucy Labs, Greg was Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer of Madison Realty Capital, a real estate private equity firm with $8 billion in assets, for more than 14 years. He oversaw the funds’ structuring, reporting and operations as well as supported fundraising and business development.

Earlier in his career, he was an investment professional at venture capital / private equity firms. Prior to working on the buy-side, Greg began his career at Salomon Smith Barney in the mergers and acquisitions investment banking division. Greg is a founding board member of NYPEN and NYPEN Real Estate, not-for-profit networking and education organizations for private equity professionals.

Glenn has 25 years of experience in derivatives, trading and FinTech, launching his career as a foreign exchange options market maker for investment banks Bear Stearns NY and AIG Trading in Greenwich, CT. He was head of FX options at Harris Bank Chicago, overseeing sales, trading and technology and was a sales / trader / structurer in foreign exchange at Societe Generale Bank in New York.

Additionally, Glenn co-founded Tiger Trading, a crypto native order / execution management system with smart order book and router and co-founded Bridgetrade, LLC, an FX options trading platform. He led options business development and product at 360T and was a product strategy specialist at EBS, both enterprise FinTech platforms catering to institutional clients.

Greg has worked for 7 years in the fintech space. He began his career at Morgan Partners, a boutique investment bank focused on insurtech and telecom deals in the $50M range. Greg began trading cryptocurrency in early 2017 focusing primarily on market making and various arbitrage strategies. In 2018 he joined the Hinduja family office managing their crypto as well as all blockchain investments. In late 2018 he joined Lucy Labs becoming the portfolio manager for market neutral strategies.

Prior to his financial career, Greg cofounded DestaPlan, a travel startup focused on leveraging social media to help plan trips in a more efficient manner.
